Each year Front Row Festival selects local charities to support. Join us in fostering community spirit and contributing to meaningful causes.
In August 2016 Dené was again referred for help from statutory mental health services. She was diagnosed with a personality disorder and assessed as medium to high risk of suicide. She was discharged in November 2016 and advised to self refer for further support.
So when the funding for her role was cut, she was determined to keep it going. And so Petals – which originally stood for Pregnancy Expectations Trauma and Loss Society – was born. Since achieving charity status in 2013, the service has grown to the size it is today, with aspirations to expand nationwide.
Run mostly by volunteers we offer a wide range of services and to support you on your cancer journey. The Hummingbird Centre is here for the entire family and we stand by your side and hold your hand for as long as you need us.
