Casino

Casino are the b*stard sons of Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding and
Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears. A riot of classic Motown and
Stax mixed with a liberal dash of northern soul, funk and a strong
streak of fresh, danceable, irresistible Liverpool melody.

The band have recently gained many plaudits supporting the
Zutons, Lightning Seeds and Jamie Webster in the last year, as well
as highly lauded performances at Isle of Wight Festival and Ynot
Festival. They sold out their most recent hometown show in
October, playing to over 800 fans and they have gained support
from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and Radio X.

Dillon, the band’s singer, has a voice straight out of a Memphis
Mississippi gravel pit. A unique sound for a band from Liverpool
with their own brand of fabulous indie soul tunes which Motown’s
Berry Gordy would give his right arm for. A most rare combination
of a band with tunes, melodies, danceable songs, a stormin’ rhythm
section and a voice which could easily have been born in Muscle
Shoals.

Silvi

In a relatively short space of time, Silvi has racked up quite the CV. Having only started making her distinct alt-pop music during the pandemic, she’s already headlined King Tut’s, showcased at Wide Days and starred in a BBC documentary about the West Lothian music scene, among other accolades. It’s quite impressive, I’m sure you’ll agree. When it comes to her musical style, Silvi is chameleonic, as comfortable singing a heartfelt ballad as she is rapping bars over indie soundscapes, and everything else in between.
